Our Medal

The medal is our hallmark throughout the world.
It summarizes the life of a Franciscan Missionary of Our Lady.

The Virgin Mary: She is Queen and Mother of the Franciscan Family and our Institute.In the medal, she is with open hands and on the way.She is the Virgin Missionary who brings to the world the word who she engendered.

The Tau: Is a Franciscan symbol, symbol of peace.
For Francis the Tau is a sign of penance andrenewal, sign of the following of the poor Christ,the Servant, sign of his love for the Crucified One.The Tau speaks of our belonging to the Franciscan family.

The world: To be where our presence can be a link of unity and communion is a constant concern that encourages us to go around the world, to serve, to do good and to be signs of love and to glorify the name of our God.

In the medal are expressed our name and mission of Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady.
