A final tribute to Fabrice

Fabrice lived right at the sisters’ front door on rue Dombasle, which he called ‘La Maison du Bon Dieu!’

Once upon a time...

Once upon a time, there was a very simple and smiling man!
His simplicity was a simple reason to attract many people around him.
His name was Fabrice!
He had just about 50!
Why not to say that he was a sociable man? Yes, very sociable and also very well known!

His house was the roof of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady !
He lived right in the front of the Sisters’door, on Rue Dombasle, which he called 'The Good God’s House.

It is was not possible to get him to accept a sheltered bed!
The people in the neighborhood always took care of him: listened to him and talked with him.
The sisters also watched over him and took care of him !!!

He lived there as if he was home!
He really felt at home!
It was so impressive to see how loved he was by the neighborhood!
He never missed a hello and a smile to everyone who passed by on the street! And, to the sisters...
He protected them and monitored the entrances and exits.

A loyal friend! A brother !! Well!
One day... One day at Christmas feast, Fabrice disappeared!
One hand... Yes, an evil hand called «lung cancer» took him!
He went to the real 'Good God’s House !'
Fabrice, your sisters and all your friends in the neighborhood say goodbye to you!
Yes, goodbye because the House of God, where you are, is the House of all of us!

Goodby !
