Consecrated life is seeing what counts in life. Pope Francis

“Consecrated life is seeing what counts in life. It is to welcome the gift of the Lord with open arms, as Simeon did. This is what the eyes of consecrated persons see: the grace of God poured into their hands”. Pope Francis
The Day of Consecrated Life is celebrated on February 2, on the feast of the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple, to give thanks for the gift of consecrated life.
To celebrate this day, we share with you the testimony of our novices about what it means to be consecrated. Each day we will have the sharing of a different country. Today we share the testimony of the novices of Madagascar.

Julia: For me, the consecrated life is a life offered totally to the Lord with an undivided Heart.

Prisca: For me, the consecrated life is a given life in the sense that it is energized by the relationship with God and with others.

Larissa: For me, the consecrated life is a consecration to the living and true God to live obedience, poverty and chastity.

Elodie: For me, consecrated life is a state of life that personally invites us to follow Christ to participate in the mission of saving the world.

Normine: For me, the consecrated life is a life centered on the evangelical counsels (Obedience, Poverty and chastity).

Gabrielle: For me, the consecrated life is the testimony of celibate life which shows that God is the only happiness.
